Frequently Asked Questions

1: What Are Your Office Hours?

Our office hours accommodate busy Manhattan schedules with convenient appointment times throughout the week. We understand that finding time for dental care can be challenging, which is why we offer flexible booking options. You can book your appointment by calling us directly or using our online booking system to find a time that works best for you.

2: Do You Accept My Dental Insurance?

We work with many major insurance providers, including Aetna, MetLife, Cigna, and United Healthcare, to help make your dental care more affordable. While we are an out-of-network practice, we can help you understand your benefits and maximize your insurance coverage. Our team will verify your benefits and explain what your plan covers before your appointment.

3: How Do I Book or Reschedule My Appointment?

Booking and rescheduling appointments at our Upper West Side practice is simple and convenient. You can call our office directly at (212) 580-4520 or use our online booking system to find available appointment times. If you need to reschedule, we ask for as much advance notice as possible to help accommodate other patients.

4: What Should I Expect During My Cleaning Appointment?

Our dental cleanings go beyond traditional cleaning methods to ensure optimal oral health. We offer advanced laser technology to disinfect your gum pockets of bacteria, leaving your mouth healthier than with conventional cleaning methods. During your cleaning, we also provide complimentary fluoride treatments to strengthen your teeth and prevent decay.

5: Do You Take X-rays at Every Visit?

All new patient exams include new X-rays as part of a comprehensive first visit. This initial appointment is completed by the doctor and includes a full exam, which typically takes about an hour and a half. The new patient fee applies to cover this thorough evaluation and diagnostic imaging.

After your initial visit, X-rays are taken only when clinically necessary, not automatically every year. We use modern digital X-ray technology, which produces minimal radiation while providing highly detailed diagnostic information. The benefits of these X-rays far outweigh the minimal risks, allowing us to detect issues early and deliver the best possible care.
