Dr. Michelle Kamel received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, College of Dentistry graduating with honors in Periodontics. Dr. Kamel went on to continue her post doctorate training in Periodontics & Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry where she gained extensive clinical knowledge and training in placing dental implants and treating periodontal disease.
During her training, Dr. Kamel has traveled both globally and locally to treat dental diseases in underserved populations in Kathmandu, Nepal and in various neighborhoods in New York City.
She is known to practice comprehensive patient care with a compassionate approach to the needs of her patients. Dr. Kamel is consistently staying current with advanced technology and is certified in LANAP/LAPIP.
Dr. Kamel is board certified from the American Academy of Periodontology and is a proud member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Nassau County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Periodontology.
In her free time, Dr. Kamel enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants around the city!
